Long-Sitting Trunk Rotation

Long-Sitting Trunk Rotation is a seated mobility exercise performed with the legs extended in front of the body while rotating the torso from side to side. It primarily mobilizes and gently stretches the obliques and back muscles, supporting trunk mobility and body awareness.

Technique tips

  1. Keep your spine long rather than rounding your lower back as you rotate.
  2. Move only within a comfortable range and use a smooth, unhurried pace.
  3. Exhale gently during each rotation and avoid using momentum to turn farther.
