Bent-Knee Side Crunch

The bent-knee side crunch is a bodyweight abdominal exercise performed lying on one side with the knees bent. It primarily trains the obliques through controlled side bending of the torso and can support trunk strength and body awareness. Perform it on both sides for balanced training.

Technique tips

  1. Use a small, controlled range of motion rather than trying to lift as high as possible.
  2. Keep your hips and knees stacked to limit rolling forward or backward.
  3. Exhale as you lift and inhale as you lower.
  4. Stop the set if you cannot keep the movement smooth and controlled.
